Thoroughly Modern Millie opened on Broadway April 2002. In this musical spoof of the roaring 20s, feisty young flapper Millie moves to New York and plans to find a job and marry a wealthy employer. Though fond of penniless paperclip salesman Jimmy, she is determined to marry the handsome and rich Trevor Graydon, who loves Millie’s roommate Dorothy Brown. As all four try to find love, evil landlady Mrs. Meers schemes to sell the orphaned Dorothy into white slavery. Based on the 1967 film musical of the same name, it will have you laughing and dancing in the aisles.
