A superb prelude to Valentine’s Day! This 1st class concert showcases the beautiful trumpet sounds of Franklin Penny accompanied by a lush Strings Orchestra. Franklin can be seen on-camera performing between Kate Hudson, Matthew McConaughey and Marvin Hamlish in the Paramount Picture release ‘How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days’. Franklin was also featured on-camera, on trumpet, in the CBS Movie ‘Martin & Lewis’ with Sean Hayes as Jerry and Jeremy Northam as Dean.

Franklin Penny is the Artist/Producer of ‘The Legendary Brant Inn’, ‘The Singing Trumpet with Strings’, ‘Big Band On Broadway’, ‘Broadway Binge’, ‘The Chet Baker Story’, ‘and ‘3 Jazz Divas In Concert’. Theatre performances have included Hamilton Place, The Burlington Performing Arts Centre, Sanderson Centre, Lighthouse Festival Theatre, Metro Convention Centre, International Centre, CBC Glenn Gould Studio and Funtrek Tours.

George Brasovan – Guest Pianist – Juno Award Nominee, Film Composer/Arranger, and Education Award Winner. This is one talented individual! George enjoyed the position of Music Director on European Television at the age of 19. Franklin is honoured to have George as Special Guest for this event.

Brian Usher – Music Director, Conductor, Pianist for ‘The Singing Trumpet with Strings’ show. Brian is a Performer (trumpet with the Guy Lombardo Orchestra & piano), Teacher, Arranger, Producer, Composer, Lecturer and Franklin is thrilled to have Brian’s first hand involvement in this special project.
