As an Artist Manager at SRO Management, Cynthia Barry has spent the past 25 years working with artists such as Rush, Van Halen, The Tea Party, Matthew Good and Queensryche. She is currently Steven Page’s Manager.
Tom Kemp, Senior Vice-President of The Feldman Agency, began his career doing stints as Big Wreck`s tour manager, A&R and Promotions at Shoreline Records and as Management Assistant to the President at Motorjam Records. In 1998, Tom joined the team at The Feldman Agency. Since then, he has dedicated his energies to supporting and building the careers of musicians such as Alvvays, Daniel Caesar, Steven Page, Joel Plaskett, Magic! and Classified, just to name a few.
Jesse Kumagai, Director of Programming, Marketing & Business Development at The Corporation of Roy Thomson and Massey Hall, is in the business of sussing out which new artists have the promise to graduate to his venues. He’s a fixture at local clubs and festival showcases, and is in contact with agents, managers and record labels about which emerging acts are generating buzz. Jesse takes a hands-on approach to artist career development and believes that concerts are among the most powerful economic drivers, agents for social change and platforms for cultural expression.
Steve Zsirai, Artist Manager at ZED Music is a graduate of the Humber College Jazz program, who began his career as a bass player, touring and recording with a variety of notable artists such as David Usher, Royal Wood, Jill Barber, The Good Lovelies, Steven Page, Maestro Fresh-Wes and Classic Albums Live. At Zed Music Steve manages the careers of multiple JUNO Award-nominated artists, including Royal Wood and Measha Brueggergosman.
