19/20 BPAC Presents

LIVE & LOCAL Music Series: Robins Avenue & Abby J. Hall

Abby Hall

Abby J. Hall

Hey! I’m a singer/songwriter and a proud Canadian. I love deep chats on the meaning of life and I can’t help but turn real life situations into lyrics. Super grateful that cupcakes are a thing and, FYI, my dad’s quesadillas are da bomb! I’m probably overly sentimental and often tear up watching romcoms.

Not having to spend even one day inside of a school (homeschooling rocks) meant I had extra time for music. I wrote my first song when I was 11. Some of my musical influencers are: T-Swift, Julia Michaels, Alec Benjamin, Sigrid, Maisie Peters, Elvis (yes, that Elvis) and Alessia Cara.

Memorable music moments include: playing my originals at The Sound of Music Festival in Burlington; at Canada’s Largest Ribfest; in Nashville at the CD Baby DIY Conference; on CHCH television for their Music Friday segment; Drake Underground with Emerging Young Artists. Currently working on releasing new music. Can’t wait to see you at the show 🙂

Robins Avenue (Ty Howie – Solo Acoustic)

With stories as honest, humble and warm as the fireplace after that forty below game of shinny, Robins Avenue will quickly remind you what it means to be human. You’ll find yourself singing along about love, hope, loss and connection. Mixed with their infectious hooks and a simple yet simplistic rhythm section, their sound shakes up the conventional definition of Americana, Pop & Roots-Rock.
