19/20 BPAC Presents

Citadel + Compagnie: ELVIS & THE MAN IN BLACK

Citadel + Compagnie is an award-winning Toronto-based professional dance organization that creates, produces, and presents works on a local, national and international scale. The Man in Black, choreographed by James Kudelka, is a celebration of American working-class grit and of the man whose voice embodied it so movingly, Johnny Cash. Looking for Elvis, choreographed by Laurence Lemieux, is a tribute to the life of Elvis Presley and takes its inspiration from Lemieux’s desire to reconcile the place of artists in the public forum.
