Mark the calendar and treat dad to a Father’s Day he won’t soon forget! Like Father, Like Son? Sorry is a stand-up comedy show that playfully explores the fears, worries, and surprises of being a new father, and the absolute terror of wanting to be a good one. Like Father, Like Son? Sorry was first performed at the 2009 Toronto fringe, where it won ‘Patron’s Pick’, and has since toured all across Canada to rave reviews. British-born comedian Chris Gibbs has delighted audiences at the Winnipeg Comedy Festival and Montreal’s Just For Laughs Festival, and is best-known for his hit, award-winning, one-man comedy shows. He was a regular guest on NBC’s comedy series Howie Do It, had the lead role in the Canadian indie feature Run Robot Run and appeared in Steven Spielberg’s feature film The BFG. Gibbs toured all across Ontario last season, opening for Roseanne Barr, and he now returns to Burlington with his signature comedic wit.
“Gibbs’ hour of observations about his first two years of fatherhood is as clever and funny a show as you’ll see… A thoroughly entertaining and hilarious show that has my highest recommendation.”
