Burlington Student Theatre Senior Company Presents:

Fiddler on the Roof

Fiddler on the Roof

Performed by Burlington Student Theatre’s Senior Company

As the play begins, Tevye, a Jewish milkman, tells of the customs in the little Russian town of Anatevka. It is 1905 and life there is as precarious as a fiddler on the roof. A musical that meets tragedy with humour as Tevye struggles to accept a rapidly changing world while his daughters leave home one by one. Very relevant today – the Fiddler represents survival in a life of uncertainty; something we know all too well. Fiddler on the Roof was the first Broadway musical to surpass 3000 performances.
