Anagnoson & Kinton are recognized today as one of the world’s finest piano duos. With over 1,000 performances throughout the duo’s 40-year history, their astonishing performances have been repeatedly met with critical acclaim the world over. James Anagnoson is Dean of The Glenn Gould School and Leslie Kinton is Professor of Piano at Western University and is also on faculty at The Glenn Gould School. The program features Ravel’s Mother Goose Suite, selections from Dvořák’s iconic Slavonic Dances, and the 20th century masterpiece Petrouchka, by Stravinsky.

The Piano – an instrument invented in the 1700s and considered one of the most important instruments in Western music, in any genre. Composers, songwriters, publishers, artists, and teachers have all dedicated countless hours to perfecting and celebrating the sounds created by this poignant instrument, which over the past three centuries remains virtually unchanged.
BPAC presents a 4-concert series showcasing this magnificent instrument in distinct piano presentations, with some of Canada’s keyboard masters.
