Lorraine Kearsey-Carter is a semi-retired, award-winning entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in sales, and leadership. In 2024, she transitioned out of full-time entrepreneurship after selling her corporation.

Recognized for her leadership and community contributions, Lorraine was the recipient of the Burlington Business Excellence Award in 2020, and YWCA Hamilton Volunteer of the Year in 2023 among several other industry awards. She holds professional credentials in Occupational Health & Safety; a Management Certificate focused on Leadership & Team Building from Sheridan College; and is a Certified Psychological Health & Safety Advisor through the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA).

Deeply committed to community and youth mental health, Lorraine also serves on the Board of Directors at Reach Out Centre for Kids (ROCK). She has previously contributed to a variety of boards and committees in both Burlington and Hamilton, always with a focus on inclusion and mental wellness.

Lorraine is an enthusiastic patron of the arts. She attends hundreds of cultural events annually and has a particular interest in supporting emerging artists and creative talent. She is excited to be able to support the arts in Burlington.
